Joe Valente 
Joe Valente has been a director of the Mokelumne Rural Fire District since February 2021. He is married to his wife Claudia. They have two grown children, Amy Blagg and Gary Valente, and four grandchildren. 
He was born and raised in Lodi, where he attended Tokay High and Delta College where he received his degree in plant science. Since 1980, Joe has been the vineyard and orchard manager for a local farming family. 
Joe has served on several boards and committees locally and statewide. He is very passionate about educating our youth in agriculture through organizations like AgVenture, 4-H, and the FFA programs. He volunteers for many events throughout the community. 
His hobbies are gardening and restoring antique tractors.
